Funny Business
While Corrine Kenner was writing The Epicurean Tarot, she had her tongue planted firmly in her cheek. "I actually laughed out loud as I typed," she reports. "I think it might be the funniest tarot deck on the market."

About the Author

Epicurean Tarot author Corrine Kenner is a professional writer, a good cook, and a certified tarot master who specializes in bringing metaphysical concepts down to earth.

Corrine is the author of two forthcoming books on the tarot: Tall, Dark Stranger, a handbook on using tarot cards for romance, and Tarot Journals, a guide to the art of keeping a tarot diary. Both are slated to be released by Llewellyn Publications. She is the creator of Llewellyn's Tarot Calendar, and she is a contributor to the 2005 Llewellyn Tarot Reader. Corrine also edited Llewellyn's popular Astrological Calendar, Daily Planetary Guide, and Sun Sign Book, as well as an anthology of supernatural accounts called Strange But True.

Corrine earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from California State University, Long Beach. She has studied tarot under the auspices of the Tarot School of New York, the Voyager Tarot Institute, and the Builders of the Adytum. Her own tarot classes and workshops are perennial favorites among students in the Midwest.

Corrine has lived in Brazil, Los Angeles, and St. Paul, Minnesota. She now lives in rural North Dakota with her husband, Dan, and her daughters Katherine, Emily, and Julia.

Born to Cook
Corrine was born at 7:50 p.m. on July 8, 1964, in Moorhead, Minnesota. That makes her Sun and Moon conjunct in Cancer — and any astrology buff will tell you that Cancerians love to cook.
